The client required a home that would function as an entertainment place par exellence; full of light, wonder and quirkiness. The program included various rooms and spaces for a far-flung group of friends to enjoy when visiting the Bay Area. Probably the most amusing experience for visitors is the loft space above the kitchen which is reached by climbing the sculpted sleel 'Beanstalk' from the great room.
